West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing the Paris Saint-Germain ace.
According to a report from Calcio Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain need to find €60 (£52.9 million) before the end of the month in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, and it could turn out to be a huge boost for West Ham in their pursuit of Javier Pastore.
The problem for West Ham, however, is Pastore's extortionate £190,000 per week wage demands, and there will certainly have to be some kind of compromise between all parties involved, if the attacking midfield ace is to make the move to the London Stadium.
With PSG reportedly in such desperate need of fast cash, however, they might just be willing to drop their asking price for Pastore, meaning that the Hammers might just be able to afford the Argentine's wages.
Pastore would be an incredible signing for West Ham, and if they could pick him up for a reduced price, it could turn out to be a real coup for the east Londoners.
