Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Ryan Gauld at Ibrox, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool also claimed to be interested.
It has been reported that Gauld could be available for transfer this summer, and Scottish Premiership club Rangers, who have recently appointed Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as their manager, are interested.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham and their bitter North London rivals Arsenal are also credited with interest in the youngster by TEAMtalk, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are also claimed to be keen on him as well.
Talented player
Gauld started his professional club football career at Dundee United and moved to Portuguese giants Sporting in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £3 million.
The former Scotland Under-21 international left Scotland rated as one of the best young talents in the country, but his progress at Sporting has not been great.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has been out on loan to Vitoria de Setubal and Alves in recent times, but there is no doubt that he is a massive talent and could become a superb footballer in the coming years
