Rangers are said to have looked at the Swede ahead of Steven Gerrard's appointment at Ibrox.
Rangers fans are reacting on Twitter after Ibrox trialist Thomas Isherwood signed for another club.
The Daily Record reports Rangers gave the former Bayern Munich second team player a chance to impress ahead of Steven Gerrard's arrival as manager in May.
However, it is unclear if Isherwood was ever in line for a full time deal with the Glasgow giants.
If he was then Rangers' chance looks to have passed for now, after Bradford City announced the 20 year old's capture on a two year contract on Tuesday afternoon.

This is what the Gers faithful are saying about Isherwood's move, which coincided with the arrival of another centre back, Nikola Katic, at Ibrox...
Hope he does well for you, he was rumoured to be joining us but it is what it is, best of luck— Kanesy (@Kanesy_99) 12 June 2018
Can't blame Thomas Isherwood for taking the deal at Bradford. Coming to us on trial for a second time wouldn't guarantee him a deal.— Willy (@SpatestonBear2) 12 June 2018
Never seen anything of him before but if it’s between us and Bradford is he really that good— dannyb1872#letsgo (@dannyb1872) 12 June 2018
Fact we are signing 2 centre backs might also make him feel it wasn't all that likely— Alistair (@AlistairB99) 12 June 2018
Severe lack of ambition though— Jamie Stewart (@1690Jamie) 12 June 2018
Reckon he has seen we are signing 2 CB's and chances he would get in were slim, i think Bradford might be taking a punt eh?— Greg (@Gregoryrfc) 12 June 2018
Isherwood, who was born to an English father but has caps for Sweden's Under 19s, was linked with moves to Manchester City and Rangers' Old Firm rivals Celtic earlier in his career.
Will Rangers regret not signing Bradford's new recruit, Isherwood?
