Norwich City fans have admitted that Everton would be making a great signing by bringing in James Maddison.
Norwich fans, understandably, are keen to keep hold of their key attacking talent.
However, there is a realisation that keeping Maddison could be tough, and they have backed him to thrive at Everton, if he does leave for Goodison Park.
The best young talent I have ever seen in years @NorwichCityFC - he’s Premiership standard now & a future England hero. An absolute gem. Physically not lightning-quick, however his decision-making & execution certainly is. Absolute quality. #efc— Norfolk Mustard (@ncfcmustard) June 12, 2018
Unreal player, has that bit of magic, 100% England international in the future. Would be a great signing for you— James (@BobbettJames) June 11, 2018
Most naturally talented footballer I've ever seen at Norwich, Great attitude and fierce competitor, Got a kicking most weekends from championship defences but seemed to thrive on it, Future England #10— Neal Black (@MrBlack79) June 11, 2018
Let’s say you’d be getting a bargain for £25m.— Marcus (@MarcusWebb91) June 11, 2018
Best player at NCFC since Craig Bellamy - and a better footballer.— Diane Davis (@Canaryb1rd) June 12, 2018
You would be getting a real gem ! He’s got everything. Skill, great attitude , passing, brilliant at dead ball situations (free kicks and corners) , scores goals and has great energy. We will miss him enormously— Phil Bygrave (@PhilBygrave) June 12, 2018
Premier League standard now. Excellent with the ball, creative and can score stunning goals. Also, good set piece taker. Not lightening quick and you want to use him centrally to get the best out if him.— James Kent (@jameskent076) June 12, 2018
A ridiculous talent and has a fantastic attitude. Unless he gets seriously injured or lets everything get to his head, he should go to the very top. We'll want to start a bidding war to drive the cost up further and I imagine we'll want a decent sell on fee— Tiansonis (@tiansonis) June 11, 2018
Maddison was in sensational form for Norwich over the past campaign, with the play maker regularly providing goals and assists.
Maddison now looks ready to make the step up to the Premier League, and Everton are battling a number of sides for his signature.
If the Toffees do bring Maddison in, they are said to want him as a replacement for Wayne Rooney, who could leave Goodison Park this summer.
Everton have been quiet in the transfer window so far, but Marco Silva is expected to make a number of additions over the coming weeks.
