Quality footballer

Sterling is one of the best attacking players in Europe, and his performances for City this past season were hugely encouraging.

The former Liverpool star scored 18 goals and provided 11 assists in 29 Premier League starts for Pep Guardiola’s side in 2017-18.

The 23-year-old will be a key player for England at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia this summer.

Sterling was on the books of Liverpool from 2010 until 2015, and Rodgers was a key figure in his development.

The City star has taken his game to a whole new level under Guardiola, and given that he is only 23 years of age, he can only improve in the coming years.
