Rangers fans have been talking up attacker Joe Dodoo despite his reportedly imminent exit.
Sky Sports report Dodoo is closing in on a move to Blackpool, with the clubs in talks over a season long loan.
Dodoo was brought to Ibrox by former Rangers boss Mark Warburton, who snapped him up from Leicester City.
Despite arriving in Scotland with high hopes, Dodoo was unable to hold down a regular place in the Rangers starting line up.
Dodoo spent last season at Charlton Athletic on loan and he appears set to join up with Lee Bowyer's Blackpool next season who are also in League One.
In 27 first team games for the Gers, Dodoo scored five goals and provided three assists.
He only played eight times for Charlton last season, scoring twice, so his market value is relatively low.
Dodoo is under contract until 2020 so Rangers have a bit more time left for Dodoo to prove himself worthy of another chance or fetch a decent fee.
Rangers fans are glad they have not cut ties completely, and commented on Twitter in reaction to rumours of his upcoming departure...
I'm glad it's a loan. The boy has potential— Scott Hannah (@scottGH1207) June 7, 2018
Mr Ge55ard will quite rightly want his own men in. I liked Dodoo and am saddened by his departure.— Strabane Loyalist (@Strabane_GSTQ) June 7, 2018

I really like Joe Dodoo, think he has a lot of learning to do. Gets caught offside a daft amount of times but a quality young player in there. Hope he does amazing on loan and maybe gets another chance but good to have him out on loan than rotting away not getting a game https://t.co/QvHxURo2D6— Emma McNee (@EmmaMcNee_92) June 7, 2018
