Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles could be heading for the exit door at Goodison Park sooner rather than later.

Robles is current discussing a move back to his homeland, with Everton keen to get him off the books.
The 27-year-old is set to be part of a mass cull at Everton, with a number of players set to leave Merseyside this summer.

Everton are keen to trim the fringe players in their squad, and there no longer appears to be a place for Robles.
Jordan Pickford has established himself as the Toffees’ number one, leaving Robles needing to move to get first-team action.

Robles is currently on a £20,000-a-week contract at Everton (Daily Star), and trimming the wage bill has been made a priority of Marcel Brands and Marco Silva.
If Robles does return to Getafe, he is likely to be immediately instated as the Spanish side’s first choice, as Crystal Palace are set to buy their current number one, Vicente Guaita.
