Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Inter Milan striker Pinamonti but Everton could be the dark horses.

If Andrea Pinamonti was to swap Inter Milan for the Premier League this summer, the expectation could be that he would be rocking the colours of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 19-year-old has only made five first-team appearances for the Milan giants but is seen as one of the most promising young attackers in Italian football. Pinamonti has an impressive record at youth level and notched seven goals in 15 games for Italy’s U17s.

But, despite his obvious talent, Gazzetta dello Sport claimed in May that Inter are open to selling the teenager this summer with Wolves at the front of the queue.

What are the chances of Pinamonti joining Everton instead, however?

As reported by the Birmingham Mail, Pinamonti has suddenly linked up with the renowned super-agent Mino Raiola, who has connections at Goodison Park. The Mirror stated recently that Everton’s majority shareholder Mino Raiola is keen to establish a link with Raiola, who is also the agent of the Toffees’ new director of football Marcel Brands.

Add to this the fact that Brands, who shot to fame with his excellent recruitment skills at PSV, has placed emphasis on trying to instil an exciting brand of attacking football led by talented young players, and Pinamonti suddenly ticks a lot of boxes.

At the moment, signs are suggesting that Everton, not Liverpool or Wolves, is the best possible destination for this precocious talent.
