West Ham United reportedly want to sign Edouard Mendy from Reims in the summer transfer window.

West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Reims goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, with Newcastle United also reported to be interested.
According to The Mirror, new West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini wants to sign Mendy from French club Reims in the summer transfer window.
The report has also claimed that the Hammers’ Premier League rivals Newcastle are interested in securing the services of the 26-year-old goalkeeper.

As reported by The Mirror, the Guinea-Bissau international is rated at £2 million, and conceded 19 goals in 31 Ligue 2 matches with 17 clean sheets this past season, helping Reims to promotion to Ligue 1 in the process.
With England international goalkeeper Joe Hart returning to his parent club Manchester City following the end of his season-long loan spell at the London Stadium, the Hammers do need a replacement for the 2018-19 campaign.
