HITC Sport understands a number of Championship clubs are chasing Scunthorpe star Adelakun.

Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Sunderland are among a number of clubs lining up a move for Scunthorpe United’s highly-rated winger Hakeeb Adelakun, HITC Sport understands.
Adelakun is out of contract at Scunthorpe next month and with the club failing to agree a new deal with him he will be available for a nominal compensation fee to his interested suitors making him one of the most in-demand players in this summer’s transfer window.
Sunderland have held a long-term interest in Adelakun having tried to sign him in January and they see him as someone who can help boost their bid to win promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking next season.

Forest and Hull are both looking to strengthen their attacking options for next season after disappointing campaigns this term and they are actively monitoring former Palace youngster Adelakun.
Adelakun is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the Football League after impressing at Scunthorpe this season.
The 21-year-old was instrumental in helping Scunthorpe play-off semi-finals only to lose to Rotherham and Adelakun’s fine form was rewarded with the EFL’s Young Player of the Month for November.
The skilful attacker made 49 appearances in all competitions for Scunthorpe this season, scoring five goals and registering an impressive 14 assists for the Iron.
