HITC Sport understands several League One and League Two clubs are chasing former Tottenham man Gallifuoco.

A number of Football League clubs are eyeing a move for former Tottenham and Swansea man Giancarlo Gallifuoco after impressing at Dover, HITC Sport understands.

Gallifuoco, who joined Dover last summer from Torquay United, is available on a free transfer after running down his contract at Dover.

The 25-year-old excelled at Dover this season in the National League, making 45 appearances and chipping in with five goals and three assists.

Gallifuoco, who can play in central defence, right-back or central midfield, helped Dover keep a club record 19 clean sheets this season and was runner up in the club’s Player of the Year awards.

The Australian Under-23 international’s displays have not gone unnoticed among clubs higher up the football pyramid, with several League One and League Two sides watching him in action this season in the National League.

Gallifuoco first moved to England in 2012 when he joined Tottenham as a teenager, but he failed to make a senior appearance during his two years in North London.

He then moved to Swansea City for one season before returning to Australia with Melbourne Victory, but he returned to the UK in 2016 with Torquay and spent one season at Plainmoor before joining Dover this summer.
