Glasgow Rangers fans appear keen to see Ben Woodburn at Ibrox next season.
New Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is a huge fan of Woodburn, having linked up with the youngster in Liverpool’s academy.
And Rangers supporters appear eager to see Woodburn in action at Ibrox.
Ben Woodburn would be a brilliant signing. Showed a lot in little time bursting into the team last year then got his international call ups. https://t.co/fZMJG8RA1G— Stuart. (@StuPollock1) May 22, 2018
If @Bruce_Archer89 is correct in saying we are after Ben Woodburn and Ryan Kent as well as other Liverpool youth then wow, I'm impressed! Woodburn already made a name for himself and Kent looks some player.— Kieran (@kieranmcl96) May 22, 2018
Harry Woodburn would be a great signing— Mega Mike (@TheRealMegaMike) May 22, 2018
I was saying to a mate yesterday that I’d like to see Rangers get Ben Woodburn from Liverpool. This morning I wake up and check my Twitter feed to see the rumour mill linking us with him and Ryan Kent. Did I subsconciously start this?! #RangersFamily #RangersFC— Mega Mike (@TheRealMegaMike) May 23, 2018
I agree but these players are players I would be happy signing, never mind loaning. Woodburn, Kent and Wilson are all brilliant. I'd like actual signings though.— Kieran (@kieranmcl96) May 22, 2018
Bullet dodged in my opinion. £2.7 for a 34 year old CB is crazy money for us... any one of Wilson / Kent / Woodburn would be unreal business— Luke (@lukemcrn) May 22, 2018
Looking at Skrtel was equal to the times when we looked at Senderos, Barton, Healy, Fowler, Savage, etc after careers were past best!— David Smith (@Bertie213) May 23, 2018
Not what’s needed imo.
The excitement for me is hearing Burke, Bartley, Woodburn & Henry - young promising talents with bags to offer!
They all are. That Woodburn seems cracking as well. Anything for 55.— Kieran (@kieranmcl96) May 23, 2018
Woodburn would bolster Rangers’ attacking options for next season, if he was to make a move north of the border.
Alfredo Morelos and Josh Windass scored the bulk of Rangers’ goals this season, but Woodburn could help to carry that burden.
The Welsh international failed to make an impact on Liverpool’s team over the last campaign, but he remains a highly regarded talent.
If Woodburn was to sign for Rangers, he could be the first of a number of Liverpool players to make the move to Ibrox this summer.
