Danny Gabbidon has joined several West Ham United supporters in mocking David Gold after the Hammers co-owner put his foot in his mouth in public once again.

Gold - who famously used a photo of Angelo Ogbonna when welcoming Pedro Obiang to West Ham - was heard discussing a number of topics while live on Talksport on Wednesday.

Among them was the potential of Declan Rice, the teenage Hammers defender, which Gold hopes can be maximised by Manuel Pellegrini, the newly appointed London Stadium manager.

Rice played 31 times for West Ham this past campaign, although it appears there are still a few gaps in the 81-year-old's knowledge of the player - who made his full international debut for Ireland earlier this year.

And many of a Hammers persuasion - including the club's former defender, Gabbidon - were quick to pull him up on it.
