Nuno Espirito Santo has named Porto forward Yacine Brahimi as one of the transfer targets he would like Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign this summer, according to Portuguese publication A Bola.
Wolves are preparing for life back in the Premier League after winning the Championship title at a canter and will have significant funds to spend.
The newly promoted side do face competition from others in the division, however, with both Everton and Newcastle United said to be interested in Brahimi - along with Serie A outfit Roma.
The Algeria international has a £52.7m release clause written into his contract at the Estadio do Dragao, although that current deal does expire in 12 months time.
While the reigning Primeira Liga champions may not receive that full amount they are hopeful of getting a large cash windfall for a player they signed from Granada in 2014 for £5m (Guardian).
Brahimi, 28, generally operates from the left wing and could help bolster an attack at Molineux that already boasts the likes of Diogo Jota and Ivan Cavaleiro.
