Everton are keeping tabs on Sevilla striker Luis Muriel ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Estadio Deportivo.

The 27-year-old Colombian international was signed from Sampdoria for a club record fee of £17.5million (with potential add-ons) last summer, and he ended the La Liga campaign with seven goals and an assist in 17 starts.

Everton are looking to bolster their forward line ahead of next season, and Estadio Deportivo claims they could consider a swap deal involving the on-loan Sandro Ramirez with Sevilla for Muriel.

The 22-year-old Spanish striker failed to impress at Goodison Park after completing a £5.2 million switch from Malaga last summer, scoring just once before getting loaned to Sevilla for the rest of the season in January.

With Sandro's Everton future up in the air, a move for Muriel could interest all parties involved.

The Toffees were allegedly interested in the services of the former Udinese striker last summer, and appear to have revived interest in him earlier this month.

Muriel is huge favourite to cover for AS Monaco's Colombian hitman Radamel Falcao at the World Cup having made the preliminary 35-man squad, and Everton and other clubs' scouts will surely be watching him closely.
