The England striker has been linked with an unlikely move to the La Liga giants in recent days.
Foxes fans have been busy on Twitter reacting to the rumours, and many have hit out at Vardy's seemingly low price-tag:

With him hitting 20 goals a season regular gets picked for England looking at least £80 million in today market. Before people say it’s his age just look at his achievements and the current market, plus there at least 2-3 years left in him..— Darren Bradford (@DjLife40) May 20, 2018
When Atletico Madrid think they can buy our most important player Jamie Vardy for £20 million. pic.twitter.com/kWA7PKNWh3— Dan Scullion (@danscull88) May 20, 2018

£20m seems about right for his left foot. The market is wildly inflated, so he's worth at least double.— FearlessFoxesLCFC (@AmericanFoxLCFC) May 20, 2018
Vardy swapping the King Power Stadium for the Wanda Metropolitano may initially seem far fetched, but it could prove to be a well-matched move if Simeone does test Claude Puel's reserve with a bid.
Atletico are known for their fast-paced, counter-attacking brand of football, and with his searing pace and clinical finishing, Vardy could slot into Atletico's starting XI perfectly and form a scary striking partnership with Diego Costa.
Granted, the reported £20 million fee is low for a striker of Vardy's pedigree, but if Atletico do truly want to secure his services then Leicester can expect a much larger follow-up bid.
