Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers are reported to be targeting Jose Sa, who has lost his place at Primeira Liga giants FC Porto.

Another day, yet another goalkeeper linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves appear desperate to find a replacement for John Ruddy between the sticks, with the club preparing for a first Premier League season in six years.
The Express reported recently that the Chinese-funded big-spenders were planning a £35 million bid for Jack Butland, while Gianluca Di Marzio suggested they could pay a similar fee for Sporting Lisbon’s Rui Patricio (below), which would equal the world-record fee for a goalkeeper set by Manchester City last summer when they signed Benfica glovesman Ederson.

Jose Sa, however, could come a little cheaper.
According to A Bola, the Black Country giants are looking at the 25-year-old shot-stopper who plays for Porto, a club Wolves have raided on numerous occasions in the last two years with the likes of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota, Willy Boly and manager Nuno Espirito Santo swapping the Estadio do Dragao for Molineux.
Sa has largely been second choice at Porto behind Iker Casillas since arriving from Maritimo in 2016, but caused a stir when he replaced the Spain legend as the club’s number one last autumn – although that run between the sticks was short lived.

Sa made 15 Primeira Liga appearances as Porto won their first league title in five years, but did not feature from February onwards with Casillas taking back his place between the sticks.
Casillas recently inked a new deal with Porto and, according to A Bola, this could see Jose Sa leave with Wolves circling. Interestingly, the report suggests that Sa is keen on a move to Molineux and a reunion with Nuno.
