Chelsea loanee Kenedy has said his goodbyes to the Newcastle United supporters after a sensational loan spell in the North East, that saw the youngster play probably the best football of his career in England.

The Brazilian winger was sparingly given chances to display his ability at Chelsea under the tutelage of Antonio Conte this season, and joined up with Rafa Benitez at St James’ Park in January as a result.

Rafa Benitez had declared an obvious interest in making the deal permanent, should he decide to stay on Tyneside, but for now Kenedy has said his goodbyes, thanking both Magpies supporters and Benitez.

Newcastle supporters are hopeful that Kenedy may return to the club one day, and took to Twitter to express their gratitude for his efforts with the club.
