Central midfielder Pritchard has confirmed his Tottenham contract is set to expire.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Joe Pritchard has confirmed he will be leaving the club on Instagram, 14 years after joining the north Londoners as a seven-year-old.

Pritchard, 21, is set to see his contract expire on June 30, and will be on the lookout for a new home after Mauricio Pochettino’s side decided against offering the versatile star a new deal.

Known for his versatility, Pritchard has been a constant fixture of Spurs’ Under-23 side, captaining the side on occasion and featuring at right-back, central midfield and on either wing.

The Watford-born star has clocked up an impressive 54 Premier League 2 appearances for Spurs, including 20 this season in which he scored three goals and laid on five assists. But it was not enough to save him, as he posted this on Instagram.

“Thank you for all the incredible memories I’ve shared during 14 years at this club! I’ve met brothers I will never forget and can’t wait to see what the future holds,” Pritchard said.

Football London claim the utility player has already been given two trials with Football League clubs, trying his luck at Championship side Bolton Wanderers and League Two minnows Cheltenham Town.

Clubs are likely to form an orderly queue for the midfielder, due to his versatility and experience without actually making a senior appearance in a Spurs’ Under-23 side that boasts huge potential.
