Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are interested in a summer move for Leicester City hitman Jamie Vardy.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be in the market for another striker this summer amid suggestions that Fernando Llorente could leave the club following a very poor first season in North London.
Pochettino has struggled to find an adequate plan-b option for red-hot Harry Kane, with Vincent Janssen, an £18.5 million transfer two years ago, also failing to make the grade at Tottenham.
Finding a suitable alternative for Kane could make all the difference for the Lilywhites next season - and their fans certainly have someone in mind.
Vardy, who scored twice in Leicester's 5-4 defeat by Pochettino's side at Wembley on Sunday, is surely a level above Llorente and Janssen, and some Tottenham supporters would love to see him arrive this summer.

Spurs should bid for Vardy— Basic Bloke (@basicbloke2012) May 14, 2018
There I've said it
Still thinking of Vardy’s 2nd against Spurs. The movement, the pace - clinical finish. Brilliant to watch.— M:// (@astronomarv) May 14, 2018
Tottenham should be buying Vardy— GG (@gillgk_singh) May 14, 2018
Am I the only one who thinks Mahrez and Vardy would be the perfect additions to our squad, they are both good, even great on their day, and they already have an understanding of each other's game, plus Vardy plays down... https://t.co/cFfHkLr2Od— COYS (@COYS1882_) May 14, 2018
Vardy would be a perfect partner for Kane for club & country, his pace & predatory instinct would dove tail with Kane's hold up & link up play. Spurs need Vardy or a Vardy style striker to play with & as an alternative to Kane— Kane Tobias Wilson (@K0901Wilson) May 14, 2018
Even as a Spurs fan, we need to find a way to utilise Vardy’s skillset and energy in a high press. The man is a CB’s nightmare.— Thor Odinson. (@OhioV1) May 14, 2018
It's certainly feasible on a financial and footballing level.
Not only would Vardy's electric pace give Spurs something different up front when they need it but, according to Silly Season, he earns around £80,000 per week at Leicester, putting him inside Tottenham's wage structure.
