Crystal Palace are the latest side linked with the Danish midfielder, for whom one of their rivals are said to have bid £10 million.

Crystal Palace could replace one Delaney with another this summer, according to the Sun on Sunday.
The tabloid reports (May 13th, page 63) that Palace boss Roy Hodgson – who is releasing Damien Delaney, the long-serving Eagles centre-back – sent a scout to watch Thomas Delaney, the sought-after Werder Bremen midfielder, in action on Saturday.
The latter player scored or assisted seven goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances this past campaign, and is said to have attracted interest from Palace’s Premier League rivals Brighton, West Ham (both Daily Mirror), Everton and Tottenham (both Daily Mail).

According to the Mirror, Brighton have already offered £10 million for Delaney. However, the Mail states that Werder are looking for £6.8 million more than that amount.
The Sun on Sunday reports that Hodgson – who boasts a strong knowledge of Scandinavian footballers – ‘wants extra midfield options’ with Yohan Cabaye out of contract.
Delaney – who has 21 caps for Denmark – only moved to Werder in January 2017 from FC Copenhagen.
Would Delaney be a good addition for Crystal Palace?
