Alex Mighten and Matthew Bondswell are tipped for big things at Championship side Nottingham Forest but could be snapped up by Manchester United instead.

Nottingham Forest have one of the best production lines in English football. The downside to constantly churning out young talent, however, is that rival clubs are always circling and keen to get their claws on Forest’s next big thing.
The likes of Karl Darlow, Jamaal Lascelles, Oliver Burke and Patrick Bamford departed the City Ground before they came close to realising their potential and Ben Brereton has been tipped to depart ever since breaking into the first-team a year ago.

The report states that United are in talks to take 16-year-old Matthew Bondswell to Old Trafford. The England youth left-back has been offered a professional contract at Forest but is yet to commit his future to the City Ground club, allowing the Premier League giants to swoop in.
Forest would not lose Bondswell for nothing given that they would be due a compensation fee, but his departure would be a blow to a side who are obviously keen to keep hold of their brightest young talents.

The Mail adds that United are also keen on the exciting winger Alex Mighten. Another 16-year-old, he has even played for the U23s this season.
Fortunately, however, Forest are confident Mighten will sign a deal and reject the chance to follow Bondswell to Manchester United.
