It is claimed Norwich City could sell Nelson Oliveira to fund a deal for the out-of-favour Sheffield Wednesday man.

Norwich City are lining up a loan move for Jordan Rhodes, the Sheffield Wednesday striker, according to the Sun on Sunday (May 13th, page 63).
The report states Norwich will sell Nelson Oliveira to fund a deal for Rhodes, who it is claimed earns £40,000 a week at Wednesday.

The previously prolific Scotland international has struggled since his 2017 switch to Hillsborough, only starting 19 games in all competitions this past campaign.
His 35 appearances yielded seven goals in total – including one against Norwich – yet Daniel Farke, the Canaries boss, is said to hope Rhodes will ‘rediscover his scoring touch’.

Financial Fair Play rules mean Sheffield Wednesday may have to sell to buy this summer, and Rhodes is one player who could be allowed to leave.
The 28-year-old has found himself often overlooked in favour of Atdhe Nuhiu and Lucas Joao since the January arrival of Jos Luhukay as Owls manager, and could fall further out of favour once Gary Hooper and Steven Fletcher return from long-term lay-offs.
