Youssouf Mulumbu has been linked with a move to Scottish Premiership champions Celtic and he showed why at Parkhead on Wednesday.

Steve Clarke really appears to have Brendan Rodgers’ number.
Three times the two managers have faced off in the Scottish Premiership this season and three times Rodgers’ title-winning Celtic have failed to defeat Clarke’s well-drilled Kilmarnock side.
Killie earned a well deserved goalless draw against the Hoops on Wednesday night, just two months after they beat the champions 1-0 at Rugby Park.
And the man who scored the only goal of the game that day, Youssouf Mulumbu, impressed once again against the Glasgow giants and continues to justify those links with Celtic.

The 31-year-old has been reborn since arriving at Killie on a free transfer in the autumn following his release by Norwich City. In fact, he has been so impressive that the Scottish Sun claimed both Celtic and Rangers were planning to sign Mulumbu on a free when his short-term contract comes to an end in the summer.
And Mulumbu would certainly be a popular addition among Celtic fans.

Because the former West Brom powerhouse was excellent once more against his potential future employers. Operating in a more advanced midfield position, Mulumbu showed off the full range of his talents.
And, with doubts surrounding the futures of Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor, Mulumbu’s latest display should have given Rodgers food for thought.
