Reported Manchester United and Tottenham target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's agent Mateja Kezman spoke to reporters about his client's future, and poured cold water on rumours suggesting that the 23-year-old has a deal in place to leave Lazio this summer, as quoted by Lazio News.
Both Premier League teams are reportedly keen on signing the £100 million rated Serbia international, according to the Mirror.
Milinkovic-Savic has been in fine form for Lazio this season, chalking up 13 goals and nine assists in 46 appearances in all competitions thus far - extremely impressive numbers considering the fact that he plays in an orthodox central midfield position.
The 23-year-old will surely prove to be a wonderful signing for whichever club wins the race for his signature, but his agent seemed to dispel rumours linking his client with an exit from Lazio, for the time being at least, as quoted by Lazio News:
"Lazio have three big games to go and nobody has talked about any negotiations at this moment. It’s only normal there is enormous interest in Sergej between some top European clubs, but we do not have any agreement with any club."
Despite Kezman's words, things can change quickly in football, and it will be interesting to see Lazio's stance on the Serb, should one of the Premier League clubs come in with a concrete offer for his services this summer.
