West Ham United are reported to have paid £8.5 million for Antonio, now a rumoured Crystal Palace target, in 2015.

Roy Hodgson, the Crystal Palace manager, has added West Ham United’s Michail Antonio to his list of summer targets, as he presses ahead with his plans for next season, according to the Daily Mirror (May 8th, page 55).
Antonio, the West Ham winger, is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, but is a key player for the Hammers when fit.

And the Daily Mirror reports the 28-year-old will not be easy to prise away from the London Stadium, having signed a contract until 2021 last summer.
According to the Sun, Crystal Palace could lose Wilfried Zaha, their eight-goal talisman, as several top clubs circle, while Bakary Sako, another who plays in Antonio’s position, is out of contract in June.

However, the Eagles’ chances of replacing either of the pair with Antonio look to have been made harder, after West Ham joined them in securing their Premier League status at the weekend.
