Glasgow Rangers fans want Fernando Torres to join his former Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard at Ibrox and play for the Gers.

Rangers fans on social networking site Twitter have urged Fernando Torres to join his former Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard at Ibrox.
Gerrard has been appointed the manager of Rangers and will take charge of the Gers’ first team from next month.
Torres played with Gerrard at Liverpool and was on the books of the Merseyside outfit from 2007 until 2011.

The Spain international striker recently announced that he will leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The 34-year-old is past his prime, but the striker is one of the best players to have even featured in the Premier League.
The former Chelsea striker, who has won the Champions League, the Europa League, the European Championship and the World Cup in his career so far, would be a blockbuster signing for Rangers.
Having played with Gerrard, Torres will know the former England international midfielder pretty well, and Rangers fans want the former AC Milan star at Ibrox next season.
