The Tottenham Hotspur ace is a reported summer transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Denmark international joined Spurs from Ajax in the summer of 2013, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £12.5 million, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s best play-makers.
Eriksen has racked up an impressive 56 goals and 69 assists in 223 appearances for the Lilywhites, and the Express claim that PSG see the 26-year-old as the ideal summer signing.

The Dane is arguably Spurs’ most important player from a creative perspective, and without him, Mauricio Pochettino’s side really do seem to lack any kind of imagination and creative nouse in the final third.
£100 million is a serious amount of money, however, and with the financial cost of moving to their new stadium, the north London outfit’s hierarchy may very well be tempted to do business.
Tottenham have previous in selling their best player before reinvesting the money poorly. They sold Gareth Bale to Real Madrid for £85.3 million in the summer of 2013, and brought in seven players with that money.

Ironically, it was only Eriksen who proved to be a success out of those seven new faces.
If Spurs do sell the Dane, they will have to replace him with someone of equal or greater talent.
