Tottenham Hotspur saw their FA Cup hopes dashed at Wembley on Saturday.

A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Ben Davies’ performance after Spurs saw their hopes of ending the campaign with a trophy dashed by Manchester United in the semi-final of the FA Cup.
Having dealt with talk of there being a Wembley hoodoo earlier in the season, Spurs are now having to cope with their critics continually reminding them that, for all of their progress in recent years, they are still yet to win a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino.

And unfortunately for Tottenham fans, they will have to listen to that talk for a while longer as United came from behind to win 2-1 at Wembley, with Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera scoring either side of the break after Dele Alli’s opener.
Much of the criticism from the supporters on social media after the game seemed to be directed at Davies, who could have questions asked about his role in both of the opponents’ goals.

Sanchez managed to get the run on the Welshman as Paul Pogba put the cross in that led to the equaliser, while there appeared to be some frustrating for the winning goal as he was unable to block Herrera’s strike from the edge of the box.
His display led to a number of fans suggesting that he is simply not good enough to be the first-choice left-back for a side that is looking to win trophies, and thus, Pochettino should look at strengthening his options in that area of the field at the end of the campaign.
Here is what some of the Tottenham fans made of Davies’ performance against Jose Mourinho’s men…
