Declan Rice made a mistake for West Ham United today – and David Moyes has highlighted it.

David Moyes has publicly grilled young West Ham United defender Declan Rice after this afternoon’s 4-1 defeat by Arsenal at the Emirates.
The relegation-threatened Irons looked like leaving North London with a valuable point, as nothing could separate both sides for 82 minutes.
But Aaron Ramsey struck to fire Arsenal 2-1 ahead, before Alexandre Lacazette grabbed a late brace to flatter Arsene Wenger’s side.
But the manner of Ramsey’s goal has infuriated the West Ham boss, after Rice ducked underneath the Welshman’s cross instead of heading it away and the Hammers paid dearly.

Afterwards, Moyes told Sky Sports: “The young centre-half should head the ball away and it wouldn’t have even got to 2-1, it was that easy. Why he would duck in the box I’ve got no idea.”
That incident aside, the 19-year-old has been arguably West Ham’s best player this season, establishing himself as a hugely-promising central defender.
And plenty of fans on Twitter – many of whom don’t even support United – have criticised Moyes for his treatment of the youngster.
