Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen is reportedly set to be offered a new deal after being name din the Premier League Team of the Season for his exploits this term - and Spurs fans reacted with sheer delight.

Football London claim the 30-year-old does not have a clause for another year in his current deal, which expires at the end of next season. The Daily Star claim the Belgian is earning £100,000 a week in north London.
