Oddschecker have exclusively told HITC Sport that Newcastle's Jonjo Shelvey has been cut from 25/1 into just 5/2 to be a part of Gareth Southgate's England squad for this summer's World Cup in Russia.
The 26-year-old midfielder has really impressed this season for the Toon, and has chalked up two goals and two assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.
It has been the manner in which he has dictated the tempo of his side's play that has been the most impressive aspect of his game, however.
Shelvey joined the Magpies from Swansea City in January 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £12 million, and that is beginning to look like an absolute snip.
His superb form has been accompanied by a clamour for his inclusion in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup, and now Oddschecker have told HITC Sport that the Newcastle ace has been heavily backed into 5/2 to be on the plane to Russia in June.
Whilst it would be highly doubtful to see Shelvey start for England at the World Cup, he could be a useful asset to the squad.
