HITC Sport understands Bristol City take up option on midfielder Pack's contract.
Bristol City have extended Marlon Pack's contract for a further year after taking up the option in his contract to keep him at Ashton Gate until 2019, HITC Sport understands.
Pack's existing deal was due to expire this summer, but with the club holding an option in the contract they have opted to extend it for a further year.
The classy midfielder has established himself as a key player in the Bristol City since joining the club from Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2013.
Pack has made over 200 appearances for Bristol City and he is an instrumental figure in Lee Johnson's starting XI.
The 27-year-old was a key member of the side that were crowned League One and Johnstone's Paint Trophy champions in the 2014/15 campaign and he helped Bristol City reach the semi-finals of this season's Carabao Cup only to lose to Manchester City.
Pack has made 44 appearances in all competitions so far this season, chipping in with three goals and seven assits for the Robins as they battle to claim a play-off spot in the Championship.
News of Pack's new contract will come as a boost to Bristol City as they club battle to keep hold of their best players this summer.
