According to Sky Sports, Everton want to land Watford forward Richarlison this summer, but face competition from both Chelsea and Manchester United.

Richarlison, 20, was a star in his native Brazil with Atletico Mineiro and Fluminense, with his form for the latter earning him a move to Watford, who beat off strong competition for his signature.

Early in the season, Richarlison repaid Watford’s faith with some superb displays, notching five goals and four assists in his first 17 Premier League outings.

However, Richarlison hasn’t bagged a goal since the 19th of November or an assist since the 12th of December, meaning he has actually lost his place in the Watford side of late.

That hasn’t stopped interest in his signature though, as it’s believed that Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United are all keen to sign the Brazilian forward this summer.

Watford would allegedly demand around £40million for Richarlison’s signature, around four times what they paid to land him less than a year ago.

That would be a major gamble given his form in 2018, but given that it’s his first season in the Premier League, clubs may be willing to take a calculated risk on his potential and believe that he will improve next season.
