Leeds have been linked again to Jerry Mbakogu.

A lot has happened at Leeds United since January and most of it has not been positive.
The Whites have won only two games, with players sapped of their form and confidence, and manager Paul Heckingbottom struggling to find answers.
As a result the patience of fans is wearing thin. And if the club thought the potential signing of Jerry Mbakogu was going to cut it, they might have to think again.

Mbakogu was linked to Leeds in late January, but there was not time to complete a deal, and The Mail reported in early February that they would look to revisit this in the summer.
Now the rumours have resurfaced, with fans discussing his potential arrival over the weekend on social media.
The problem Leeds have in selling Mbakogu’s signature to fans is that he has not even reached double figures yet this campaign and plays in a second tier league.
The Nigerian forward has missed most of the last two months with a knee injury and has just six league goals all season, and a further two in cup competitions.
Leeds are not in a position where they can take gambles, as their form in 2018 would have them on course for relegation had they not amassed so many points in the first half of the season.
Fans aspire to challenge for, and win promotion. Mbakogu does not look like the answer.
