Leeds United have won only two games in 2018.

The winning feeling for Paul Heckingbottom at Leeds United only lasted so long.

On Friday his Leeds side beat a hapless Bolton Wanderers 2-1, to register just their second victory of 2018.

Last night the Whites lost 2-0 to Fulham, resuming ‘normal’ service.

Paul Heckingbottom, Manager of Leeds United looks on prior to the Sky Bet Championship match between Fulham and Leeds United at Craven Cottage on April 3, 2018 in London, England.

Leeds were let down by poor finishing from Caleb Ekuban and Jay-Roy Grot, who both missed sitters.

These highlighted how on one hand, Heckingbottom could be absolved of some blame, managing players who simply are not up to standard.

Director of football Victor Orta is responsible for this, with Leeds manager Heckingbottom yet to have his own transfer window to put his imprint on the club.

At the same time, Heckingbottom’s Leeds appeared to lack a game plan and defended poorly, conceding a scrappy first half goal from a set piece, when they were fortunate not to have conceded earlier.

Leeds fans are growing frustrated with their sides inconsistency, and there are growing calls for the club to reset in the summer, or even before, and change manager once again.
