What impact would the striker’s arrival at Derby County have on Sam Winnall’s future, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday?

Derby County will try again to sign Millwall’s Lee Gregory in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror (April 2nd, page 49).
The report suggests Derby are looking to sign the nine-goal striker for around £750,000, with Millwall expected to exercise their option to extend his expiring contract until June 2019.
And that could make him a cheaper alternative to Sam Winnall, who is on loan to the Rams from Sheffield Wednesday.

Speaking to BBC Radio Derby last month, Winnall reiterated his desire to remain at Derby, for whom he scored six goals in 17 games before succumbing to injury.
The 27-year-old is one of seven strikers on the books at Pride Park, and even with the spells of two of those (Darren Bent and Chris Martin) likely to end for good this summer, it is unlikely that more than one addition will be pursued in that position.

Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, are sure to want more than £750,000 for Winnall, who cost them a similar cut-price amount 15 months ago.
And with Winnall’s injury keeping him out, potentially, until next season, a deal for Gregory could make more sense for Derby.
Which of the Millwall or Sheffield Wednesday strikers would be best for Derby County?
