According to reports, the Barcelona ace is a huge fan of the West Ham United playmaker.

According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has told his teammate Luis Suarez that West Ham ace Manuel Lanzini would fit in perfectly at the Camp Nou.

The mercurial Argentine joined the Hammers initially on loan back in the summer of 2015, before making his switch to east London a permanent one the following season.

Lanzini has chalked up 18 goals and 15 assists in 96 appearances for West Ham thus far, and those figures probably don’t do his actual quality much justice.

The 25-year-old is vital to everything good that the Hammers do, and when he is on song, he makes them tick.

According to Don Balon, he has a big fan in the world’s best player – Lionel Messi.

The Spanish publication claim that the 30-year-old five-time Ballon d’Or winner told Luis Suarez how Lanzini would fit in perfectly at Barcelona and that he would be the ideal summer signing.

The 25-year-old is still under contract with he Hammers until the summer of 2020, so West Ham still hold all of the cards, although if a club like Barcelona do come knocking, it will be extremely hard for the Hammers to resist their overtures.
