Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is reportedly wanted by Everton in the summer transfer window.
Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.
According to The Mirror, Everton are interested in signing Smalling from Premier League rivals United in the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old central defender has been on the books of the Red Devils since January 2010 when he joined from Fulham for a transfer fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £10 million.
During his time at Old Trafford so far, the England international has won the Premier League twice, and the FA Cup and the Europa League once each.
United are second in the Premier League table at the moment, while Everton are currently ninth in the standings.
