Lewis was selected to start in the contest against the non-league opponents, and he did not look out of place in a strong Hammers line-up.
Lewis was surrounded by many of West Ham’s stars, but he still managed to stand out in the contest.
And Hammers fans have raved about the display of Lewis on social media website Twitter.
West Ham ran out 3-1 winners over Dagenham last night, with Michail Antonio bagging a brace.
Jordan Hugill also got on the scoresheet, as West Ham picked up a comfortable win.
The Hammers used the friendly match to keep themselves sharp, over the international break.
West Ham have a weekend off, due to the international break, with their next match being a crucial one against Southampton in two Saturdays’ time.
