Nottingham Forest want to sign loan stars Lee Tomlin and Costel Pantilimon from Cardiff City and Watford respectively, according to the Daily Mirror [March 22nd, page 62].
The pair are among 10 players brought to the City Ground since Aitor Karanka's appointment as manager in January, and have impressed since then.
Playmaker Tomlin has scored three goals and made another two in eight Forest appearances, while Pantilimon has immediately established himself as Reds number one, keeping four clean sheets from a possible nine.
Forest's chances good?
However, it is unlikely that their parent clubs will stand in the way of permanent transfers, with Cardiff on course for promotion to the Premier League and Watford having already agreed a deal to sign Swedish goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg from the summer.
As well as the Cardiff and Watford pair, Jack Colback (Newcastle United), Kieran Dowell (Everton) and Tobias Figueiredo (Sporting CP) have also been loaned to Nottingham Forest this season.
