Nottingham Forest appear to be running the rule over Brighton and Hove Albion’s Isaac Hutchinson and Norwich City’s Alan Fleming.
The pair featured as trialists in Forest Under-23s’ 2-2 draw at Millwall on Monday afternoon, as reported by the Nottingham Post.
Both Hutchinson, who can play anywhere behind the striker, and Fleming, a centre forward, have previously turned out for the Reds’ second string this month.
And it is not uncommon for clubs to hand out such trials at this time of year, as the academy season reaches its end.
Nottingham Forest fell behind at the Den, following an error from Reds goalkeeper Liam Bossin, who later saved a penalty.

However, goals from Toby Edser and Aaron Smith turned the game on its head before Noel Leighton’s late equaliser.
Hutchinson, 17, and Fleming, 18, are still awaiting their first senior appearances for respective clubs Brighton and Norwich.
Jayden Richardson, Danny Preston, Jake Taylor, Ethan Stewart, Alex Iacovitti, Elvis Otim, Brennan Johnson were also involved for Forest.
