Matthew Pennington joined Leeds United on loan from Everton in the summer of 2017.

Leeds United fans on social networking site Twitter are against the idea of signing Matthew Pennington on a permanent contract from Everton.
Pennington moved to Championship club Leeds on loan from Premier League outfit Everton in the summer of 2017.
Much was expected of the 23-year-old when he arrived at Goodison Park, but the central defender has struggled with injury issues and has not been exactly great when he has played.
The former England Under-19 international has started nine matches and made eight substitute appearances in the Championship for the Whites so far this season.
Leeds fans do not want the club to sign Pennington, who earns £780,000 per year salary according to Spotrac.com, on a permanent contract from Everton in the summer of 2018.
Below are some of the best comments:

Pennington is a good player, and although the central defender has been unlucky with injuries this season, Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani should not make his loan deal permanent.
It would be risk to commit long term to the 23-year-old, even his performances and form improve in the final weeks of the season.
