Besic has played six times for Middlesbrough since his January loan from Everton.

Middlesbrough are keen on turning Muhamed Besic’s loan into a permanent transfer from Everton, according to the Northern Echo.
Besic made the temporary move to Middlesbrough in January, where is unbeaten in five of his six appearances – winning four.
And the report suggests Everton will not stand in the way of a full-time arrangement, claiming the Toffees would have sanctioned such a deal in January had Boro boss Tony Pulis not been reluctant to rein in the spending after a heavy summer of recruitment under his predecessor Garry Monk.

However, it adds that Everton would be looking for more than the £4.5 million they paid to Ferencvaros four years ago.
Is permanent transfer promotion dependent?
That sort of money would be nothing to a Premier League club, but could be a stretch for a Middlesbrough side which fails to gain promotion this season.
In that case Boro – who climbed into the play-off positions last week – would receive a smaller parachute payment, and may have to consider cuts as they seek to comply with the EFL’s Financial Fair Play rules, a problem which has faced Aston Villa this season.
Would a full-time deal be best for all parties?
