Leeds United fans react to Josh Windass display for Rangers

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass played well at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby, and Leeds United want the Gers star at Elland Road.

Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Josh Windass for Rangers against Celtic at Ibrox.

Windass featured for Rangers in the Old Firm derby against Celtic at home on Sunday afternoon.

The 24-year-old former Accrington Stanley midfielder played well for the Gers and opened the scoring in the third minute, although the Hoops won the Scottish Premiership match 3-2.

Windass has been in good form for Rangers in recent weeks and has emerged as a key player Graeme Murty’s side.

The midfielder has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 28 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.

Leeds were linked with a move for Windass in the January transfer window, with The Daily Record claiming that the English club wanted the midfielder.

The Whites are playing in the Championship this season and are unlikely to get promoted to the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign.

Leeds fans were impressed with the performance of Windass against Celtic and want the club to sign the midfielder from Rangers in the summer of 2018.
