West Ham United lost to Burnley in the Premier League at the weekend.

The former West Ham midfielder made the comments following the Hammers’ defeat to Burnley in the Premier League at the weekend.
David Moyes’s side suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of Burnley at the London Stadium last Saturday afternoon.

Lampard said on Match of the Day on BBC One last Saturday night (11:03pm, March 10, 2018): “Arnautovic is probably their best player, the player who can do things for them.
“He is playing as an out-and-out striker on his own, and it’s difficult for him. He needs a partner, he needs people around him.”

Needs support
Arnautovic is a very good attacking player who can operate as a winger or as a forward.
However, the Austria international cannot do it all by himself, and needs midfield players around him.
The 28-year-old former Stoke City star also needs players who can read his passes and can connect with him in the final third.
Arnautovic has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 20 Premier League starts for West Ham so far this season.
The Hammers are in genuine danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season.
