The 24-year-old defensive midfielder started the match at the Hillsborough Stadium and played until the second minute of injury time, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

I don’t like to single out players but Pelupessy is not Roy Keane, or the like, by any stretch of the imagination . In fact, I’d go as far as to say, whatever we payed for him,is,that much, too much #swfc— Glen SWFC B (@growlers6) 10 March 2018
Thought Joey Pelupessy was very good today, adds that bit of steel that we miss without Hutchinson. #swfc— Tom Taylor-Batty (@TomTB1995) 10 March 2018
I agree, thought he had a great game today. Made lots of timely interceptions and reading of the game looked very good! Hopefully continues!— SWFC_Polls (@SWFC1867_Polls) 10 March 2018
