The 20-year-old’s decision appears to have alerted Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have taken note of Ben White’s decision to reject a new contract at Brighton & Hove Albion, according to the Sun.
White has spent the current campaign on loan to League Two’s Newport County, who Tottenham needed a replay to overcome in the FA Cup fourth round.
And the 20-year-old appears to have caught the eye of both Spurs and Liverpool, who are notorious Football League talent spotters.

White has only played twice for Brighton – both times in the 2016-17 League Cup – and is out of contract there at the end of next season, according to the Sun.
Is another Spurs-Liverpool battle on the cards?
White is not the only lower league Ben to feature on the pair’s radar, with Stevenage FC’s Ben Wilmot also a target, according to ESPN.

Interestingly, the website reported in January that Brighton have already had offers rejected for Wilmot – another defender.
Could he replace White at the Amex, or will Tottenham and Liverpool leave them empty handed?
