Arsenal fans were left fuming after the defeat to Manchester City.
Following their Carabao Cup final defeat Arsenal fans are not a happy bunch, and it’s easy to understand why.
The Gunners were second best, losing 3-0, and the players appeared to give up.
There was not a single Arsenal player who came out of the game with credit, with reputations damaged.
One player who needed a big performance was Hector Bellerin, who had a mini war of words with Arsenal Fan TV earlier this month and accused the platform of not being able to handle criticism themselves.
There’s some misleading quotes going around. At no point have I criticised Arsenal fan base. I have nothing but respect for all the support we get through ups & downs. I just voiced my opinion about a platform. Guess some people just can’t take opinions about themselves♂️

Bellerin’s comments only put the spotlight on himself further and have made him more of a target for criticism when results do not go Arsenal’s way.
Sunday’s performance was one which did not help his cause, and invited more negative comments.
The former Barcelona trainee was once highlighted as one of Arsenal’s top talents but he has regressed in recent months and faces more testing times ahead.
Here is a look at how Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter to his performance…
Bellerin is a terrible player , can’t defend , can’t head the ball ,zero strength.. only speed .He should be a linesman instead♂️

Bellerin is Justin Hoyte with pretty hair

Ive lost it with Bellerin now. Putting in poor performances every week, gets skinned by his winger so easily, and then makes stupid comments about fans. Time for him to move on

Bellerin is so bad.
How did he end up being in the first team?

You know the way players should be learnning and improving, Bellerin is regressing. Ever since the United game I never wanted to see him in an Arsenal jersey ever again!
