The Real Madrid midfielder has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer.

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has told the club’s hierarchy that he wants to join Liverpool in the summer, according to Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito TV.
The 21-year-old has struggled for game-time at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, making just two La Liga starts, and with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro currently ahead of him in the midfield pecking order, his future in the Spanish capital looks bleak.

Liverpool are cash rich, following the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona last month, and Spanish media outlet Don Balon claim that Jürgen Klopp is a keen admirer of Ceballos.
El Chiringuito TV suggest that the Spaniard was disappointed at not being allowed to leave the club in January, and has told Madrid officials that he wants to join the Merseyside outfit in the summer.

The young Madrid midfielder would be a useful addition to Klopp’s squad, although he would not be a direct replacement for Coutinho.
With Emre Can set to leave Anfield int he summer, however, there will be a spot that needs filling in the middle of the park, and Ceballos could be just the man for the job.
